This Community Giveaway will provide local low-income families with free daily essential goods including personal products, clothing, and household goods.

CDC restrictions, masks, temperature checks, and social distancing will be strictly enforced.

On Friday, March 19 from 3- 5:30 volunteers are needed to load the truck with supplies for the Saturday event. This volunteer location is on Rt. 610, Garrisonville Rd, Stafford, VA. If you volunteer for this shift we will email you the address.

  • Fri Mar 19, 2021 - afternoon / 03:00 PM to 04:45 PM
    This volunteer opportunity is in Stafford, VA, loading the truck for the Saturday 3/20 giveaway.
  • Sat Mar 20, 2021 - morning / 07:00 AM to 09:30 AM
    Offload vehicles and set up goods for customers.
  • Sat Mar 20, 2021 - 09:30 AM to 12:00 AM
    Assist customers
  • Sat Mar 20, 2021 - afternoon / 12:00 PM to 03:00 PM
    Assist customers and clean up

Description

The JDF promotes foot health and healthy lifestyles by providing education, services, and resources. The JDF recruits pro-bono services for Free Clinics and creates interactive Health Fairs. We also give away free shoes, socks, foot care supplies, clothing, blankets, beds/bedding, kitchenware, bathroom goods, toys, bicycles and a wide assortment of household goods to the underserved.
