Now more than ever is it important to provide fun learning resources to the young children of our communities learning remotely. We need help putting together the materials to put in our book-themed activity kits! Volunteers will be mailed a stack of various papers we need cut out, assembled, organized, and mailed back to us. About Jumpstart Southern California
1625 W Olympic Blvd. Ste. 1050, Los Angeles, CA 90015, US
Jumpstart is working toward the day every child in America enters school prepared to succeed.
Each year, one third of America's children arrive on their first day of school without the skills necessary to succeed at grade level. When children begin behind their peers, catching up, especially without additional assistance, is difficult and unlikely. By focusing on enriching the education of preschool students from disadvantaged communities, Jumpstart is making sure every child has a chance at success. Jumpstart is a national nonprofit dedicated to inspiring children to learn, adults to teach, families to get involved, and communities to progress together.
