CNS Hospice is currently seeking individuals to assist hospice patients with their life stories. Every person has a story to tell. It might be a series of events, a special occasion, or simple to remember family traditions. Whatever the story it deserves to be heard, remembered, and treasured. Volunteers are given the tools and instruction to accurately record these memories.

Mission Statement
We create exceptional moments and experiences that heal individuals and families by providing compassionate care and by putting health, dignity, comfort, and well-being first. We are a non-profit organization, and it is our privilege to serve you and the communities in which we live.
Description
CNS was established in 1928 to provide nursing care for sick people in their homes as an alternative to hospitalization. CNS began as a voluntary non-profit agency, when the existing Visiting Nursing Association of Salt Lake and the Private Duty Registry were combined. In 1930, Salt Lake Community Nursing Services became a participating agency of the Community Chest, later to be known as United Way.
Over the past 90 years Community Nursing Services (CNS), has expanded services and coverage areas to meet the needs of Utahns statewide. As Utah’s oldest nonprofit home health care agency, CNS is committed to providing care regardless of insurance coverage or ability to pay.
