Why are we looking for new Board members?
Encanto Little League must maintain a strong Board of Directors. We are looking for Board Members that are interested in making decisions that further the Mission of the Encanto League and for Board Members whose primary objective is for the positive benefit of the Encanto Little League organization as a whole.
Each year, new members are needed to replace the "aging out" Board Members (who take years of experience with them). We have an ongoing need to recruit new Board members, particularly from the Tee Ball and Major levels, as parents from these divisions will be the future Leaders of the Encanto Little League.
Maintaining an adequate number of active Board members will allow each Board
Member to fulfill 100% of their assigned duties and responsibilities. Doing so will prevent mistakes, problems and issues that to correct, drain energy, time and resources from our mission of supplying our youth with a quality Little League experience.
Are you are interested in becoming a Board Member?
If you are hesitant to join the Board, a great way to join is to spend your 1st season as a Board Member essentially observing how the League operates. You can then get more involved.
If you are interested in helping run the League, please email your name, address and phone number and indicate that you are interested in joining the Encanto Little League Board of Directors.

One Team. One Little League. Joined together by one common goal, every local league is part of One Team. One Little League. Parents are strongly encouraged to become involved in Little League. After completing a Little League volunteer application and passing a required national background check, parents may become involved in practices, and be eligible as coaches, managers, umpires, local league board members, and other volunteer positions within the league.

Serving the community of Encanto since 1956. We are a member of Little League International's Urban Initiative Program. We are one of 10 leagues that are in California District 66 and a Little League International.
