During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Do you love what you do and would like to share your passion and talent with others. Community Nursing Services is currently seeking a licensed beautician to join their D County Hospice Volunteer Team.
Sometimes it can be very difficult for a hospice patient to leave their home for such things as a trip to the beauty salon and so we would like to bring the beauty salon to them. This would only involve simple haircuts and is an ongoing service depending on the need.
If you would like to make a difference to someone and help them feel beautiful please contact me!

We create exceptional moments and experiences that heal individuals and families by providing compassionate care and by putting health, dignity, comfort, and well-being first. We are a non-profit organization, and it is our privilege to serve you and the communities in which we live.
CNS was established in 1928 to provide nursing care for sick people in their homes as an alternative to hospitalization. CNS began as a voluntary non-profit agency, when the existing Visiting Nursing Association of Salt Lake and the Private Duty Registry were combined. In 1930, Salt Lake Community Nursing Services became a participating agency of the Community Chest, later to be known as United Way.
Over the past 90 years Community Nursing Services (CNS), has expanded services and coverage areas to meet the needs of Utahns statewide. As Utah’s oldest nonprofit home health care agency, CNS is committed to providing care regardless of insurance coverage or ability to pay.
We'll work with your schedule.
