Use your phone and computer skills to expertly navigate a disaster assessment and dispatch the team who will respond. Additionally work alongside the Red Cross Disaster Team's leaders to build out the Disaster Duty Officer role by training more volunteers to help with dispatch duties.

In this critical virtual role you will help ensure resources are available to provide support to clients and families. Build on your knowledge of how our Disaster teams function to assist those affected by disasters.

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • Three 12 hour on call shifts per month, attendance at a monthly meeting
  • Must be able to complete trainings within the first 90 days of trainee position assigned
