During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Our infant and toddler classrooms and home visiting programs are always in need of items for the enrichment and benefit of the children. Items such as diapers, wipes, formula, board books, outdoor toys, infant and toddler toys, and craft supplies. Please contact us if you are interested in making any donations or holding a donation drive. In the past organizations have held diaper drives, book drives, and even toilet paper drives for the program!
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

Family-centered, quality services for infants and toddlers. Early Head Start is more than day care! We provide comprehensive services including medical, dental, and mental health services. We support the whole family through a two-generational approach.
Lucas County Family Council has partnered with child care providers in the community to deliver high quality and comprehensive Early Head Start services for families in the county. We are currently offering services through Catholic Club, East Toledo Family Center, Educare Academy, Mercy Medical Center and Toledo Day Nursery. Twenty percent of the total Early Head Start grant funding money must be matched through donations. This match is called an In-Kind Donation. Volunteer hours and donations (materials or services needed by the program) count as a dollar amount toward this commitment. The dollar amount is determined by what the services would have cost if the program had to pay for them. Any donation of time, money, supplies, or other program essentials
counts towards our in-kind fund. Volunteers are extremely important when it comes to in-kind because the time they contribute has an assigned dollar value.
We'll work with your schedule.
This is a Virtual Opportunity with no fixed address.
