Do you love history? Beaches Museum is looking for docents to give walking tours of our history park and historical buildings. Tours are approximately 45 minutes long with groups of 8 or less. Masks are required and social distancing is enforced. Volunteer shifts are 3 hours per week. The Museum is a wonderful place to meet new friends, and to share your love of local history. Our park features the first church built at the beaches, the first post office, an old cracker cabin, a train depot, a railroad foreman's house and a locomotive. All buildings are over 100 years old. The Museum is operated by the Beaches Area Historical Society.

Our diverse range of experiences offered - events, exhibits, archives, and more -give life to the vibrant history and culture of the area.
