We're looking for dedicated volunteers who can help us put together a successful event in June of 2021: The Run Jimmy Run Charity 5K! All proceeds from The Run Jimmy Run Charity 5K benefit the Alzheimer's Association WNY. Whether you're a runner, interested in event planning, or just a dedicated volunteer looking to help out a good cause, we'd love to have you become part of our Run Jimmy Run Committee. Here are the ways that you can help: - Sponsorship: Connect us with local companies to create sponsorship partnerships - Logistics: Work with our staff and fellow volunteers to plan for the day of the race - Recruitment: Help us engage runners in the area and encourage them to participate in our 5K -Marketing: Get creative to help us get the word out about our event in any way possible
Here in Western New York, the Alzheimer’s Association is committed to provide and enhance care and support for those with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
Run Jimmy Run is committed to provide funds to the Alzheimer’s Association WNY to help keep their programs and services completely free of charge. Since 2013, Run Jimmy Run has raised nearly $100k for the Alzheimer’s Association WNY.
