Buxton Sea Cadets are looking for Cadet Forces Adult Volunteers to assist with the delivery of a comprehensive training programme and when permitted to assist in face to face activities including sailing, power boating, kayaking, rowing, shooting, drill and ceremonial activities, multiple sports and much much more.
We are currently providing virtual training via Zoom and volunteers are sought to assist with this also.
We are also looking for administrative support volunteers to assist with the smooth running of the unit and offering administrative support to the Commanding Officer and senior management.
No previous experience or military service is required as full training will be given as well as a comprehensive induction program. Further training and social events are also available- subject to Covid secure measures.

The Sea Cadets are a national charity comprised of 400 units offering in excess of 15,000 young people opportunities to improve self confidence, teamwork and leadership through an alternative adventure. We work closely with the Royal Navy although cadets are not expected to peruse a naval career the opportunities this provides are second to none.

Description

Buxton Sea Cadets are looking to recruit Cadet Forces Adult volunteers to assist with the delivery of unit training and the delivery of the cadet experience.
volunteers also have access to industry specific training and social activities.
this will include assisting in delivering training to cadets and assisting with water sports all year round.
We are also looking for administrative support volunteers to assist the senior management of the unit.
no experience or previous military service is required as all training will be given as well as a full and comprehensive induction program.
These positions are subject to an enhanced DBS check
