Grieving the loss of a loved one is never easy. The strain that COVID-19 has placed on these families has made the bereavement support provided by our team more critical than ever. Our hospice program is seeking compassionate bereavement volunteers to join this team! You will receive hands-on experience working with our Bereavement Coordinator to provide grief support to families following the passing of a loved one. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, making phone calls to the surviving family members of patients who have died to provide information on the bereavement program and, assisting to identify bereaved individuals needing one-on-one counseling or phone calls from a bereavement counselor.

The hospice team provides care to patients in their own home.
