The STTF Associates Board is a group of emerging and motivated activists, artists, business professionals, and nonprofit leaders that champion STTF’s mission to ensure that Black and Latinx youth play a pivotal role in creating the world they want and deserve. As a member of the Associates Board, you will use your unique talents and engage your networks to build awareness for STTF’s work in the greater Los Angeles area, particularly amongst the corporate community and with young professionals.

In return, you will have the opportunity to network and connect with other mission-oriented young professionals while developing and harnessing leadership skills.

Mission Statement

Our mission at STEM to the Future is to inspire and motivate Black and Latinx students ages 4-11 to be creative critical thinkers who use STEAM to solve real-world problems such as climate change and poverty. We partner with schools and organizations in the LA area to deliver unique STEAM curriculum that combines technical skills with real-world issues and narratives.

Description

Our volunteers make a huge difference and impact up to 3,000+ elementary-age students in underserved communities in LA, many of which are communities of color.

We're always looking to build out our volunteer base of professionals in all STEAM fields (science, technology, engineering, art, and math). If you or anyone you know has experience in STEAM - through your education, hobbies, or profession - please consider joining our volunteer team.
