During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
As a Direct Care Volunteer, you will provide an array of services. support, and companionship for patients with life-limiting illness and their families. Volunteers meet with patients in homes and facilities - bringing their time, unique talents, and kind hearts to create personal connections. Volunteers provide no personal daily care, but instead, review life, play cards, listen, and talk about family experiences. If in a home setting, the volunteer may also do light housework while giving the caregiver the chance to run errands, attend appointments, or rest.
Wondering how this might be a good match for you? Our Volunteer Coordinator works to ensure a successful volunteer/patient match in a safe environment. If you have a compassionate heart, we invite you to come BE a part of our hospice team and BE a community connection for our patients and families. We are excited to meet YOU!
