As a Companion Volunteer, you will provide an array of services. support and connection to our end-of-life patients and their families. Volunteers meet with patients in homes and facilities - bringing their time, unique talents, and kind hearts to create personal connections and provide companionship. Volunteers provide no personal daily care, but instead, review life, play cards, listen, talk about family experiences and hobbies. If in a home setting, the volunteer may also do light housework while giving the caregiver the chance to run errands, attend appointments, or rest.
