GLOBAL BLACK GAY MEN CONNECT CORPORATION
GBGMC seeks an enthusiastic and collaborative communicator who will provide administrative and technical support to the GBGMC Team. The Communications Assistant will be responsible for supporting strategies that increase GBGMC visibility to diverse global audiences, expanding digital information sharing capacity, and strengthening internal communication systems. The Communications Assistant will support this strategy and build GBGMC internal information structures by contributing to the design, development and dissemination of high quality tools and materials, ensuring style and branding compliance, backstopping GBGMC media relations and conference participation, and supporting GBGMC website and social media platforms. Other tasks, such as written support to proposals for funding projects or yearly reports to existing funders, may be assigned based upon organizational need and/or the individuals own strengths or interest

A global platform that ensures black gay men are mobilized to actively demand for social justice towards a harmonious coexistence. To build an activist movement of Black gay men that is financially-sustainable and able to demand and provide for equal access to health care, education, and opportunities for economic-prosperity and talent-recognition. Our movement affirms the human rights of all people, emphasizing and including Black and brown LGBTIQ people.
GBGMC aims to be a philanthropic and programmatic innovator, serving as a bottom-up interlocutor among its grassroots constituents, including Black gay activists and advocacy organizations, international governmental and non-governmental civil society representatives, and institutional and individual philanthropic stakeholders in each movement. As a movement interlocutor GBGMC will prioritize amplifying the voices and needs of grassroots and institutional stakeholders and sponsors, ensuring institutional responsiveness to building and enhancing grassroots capacity that sustains Black gay men as individuals and organizational representatives on par with their allies in advancing the goals of liberation and justice in the Black liberation and LGBTIQ movements
