Our Bereavement Volunteer opportunity is unique in that it can be done at home or in the Heart to Heart office. The bereavement program is for Heart to Heart families after a patient passes as well as anyone who is grieving in their immediate circle. As a bereavement volunteer, you will work along side of our Bereavement Coordinator in assisting with mailings, follow-up phone calls, and documentation. Phone calls will be made to families in the grieving process and is usually just a call to let family members know that they have support. This is a great opportunity for those who have experience with the grief process or who are looking to gain more knowledge in helping others with grief healing. This would also be great for a person who is wanting to keep up to date on their counseling experience.
