ORGANIZATION: Heart to Heart Hospice

Do you like to visit others? As a Companion Volunteer, you will provide support and companionship to patients with life-limiting illness and their families. Volunteers meet with patients in homes and facilities -- bringing their time, unique talents, and kind hearts to create personal connections. Volunteers provide no personal care, but instead, review life, play cards, listen, and talk about hobbies. If in a home setting, the volunteer may also do light housework, while giving the caregiver the chance to run errands, attend appointments, or rest.

Wondering how this might be a good match for you? Our Volunteer Coordinator works to ensure a successful volunteer/patient match that is rewarding and in a safe environment. We invite you to be a part of our hospice team and BE the community connection for patients and families. We are excited to meet YOU!
