Create and decorate meal baskets with non-perishable food for families served by Our Lady of the Angels in Humboldt Park.
Our Lady of the Angels has tripled the number of neighbors they serve during COVID-19. By packing and decorating holiday food baskets, your work at this project improves food access, shows community care, provides a celebratory meal for families experiencing hardship.
Take Note:Your family will gather and pack donations at your home. The event time listed is intended for curbside donation drop off only.
After registering for this project, you will be responsible to purchase or collect food to a make a food basket. Honeycomb will provide a list of most requested food items. You may donate as many food baskets as you like.
This project is designed for your whole family to participate in together! Ask your children to help select food for you to purchase for your basket.
Health and safety is our priority. This is an outdoor, contact-free donation drop off. We require that you wear a face mask and practice social distancing when delivering donations. Please adhere to CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
