Brookdale Hospice Colorado Springs
Helping others as they near the end of their lives is a profoundly moving experience. Spend some time with a hospice patient and create a special space for them-- read, review their life history, write a letter to a loved one for them, or just provide a comforting presence. As a Hospice Volunteer you are specially trained to support the patient and family in a variety of ways. You must pass a background check, drug screen, TB test, and successfully complete orientation. Weekly covid testing in our office is also required and you must wear full PPE when you visit your patient(s). For more information on how you can make a difference in the life of a hospice patient, call or email CJ Pharr, Volunteer Coordinator at Brookdale Hospice. 719-268-2582 or cpharr@brookdale.com
