Do you love to read? Do you want to make a positive difference in our community? Become a hospice volunteer and share your love of reading with one of our patients. Brookdale Hospice is looking for someone like you who loves to read and can share some time and talent with a patient. You get specialized hospice training from our staff and get to make someone's life a little better-- their life and your life. Serious inquiries only: must pass background check, drug screen, TB test, and complete orientation. Weekly covid testing in our office is also required and you must wear full PPE when visiting patients. Our hospice volunteers make a tremendous positive difference in the lives of hospice patients in the Colorado Springs area. Specifically trained to support the hospice patient and family in a variety of ways, our hospice volunteers provide compassionate companionship to those facing a terminal illness.


At Brookdale Hospice we take ownership and pride in everything we do. We put the patient first, and recognize that good people make the difference. Our Hospice Volunteers provide compassionate companionship in a variety of ways to hospice patients throughout the Colorado Springs area. Self-paced training and flexible scheduling. For Patient Safety: must pass a background check, drug screen, 2-step TB test, possess a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
