I'm looking for people to serve on the planning committee for the Charlottesville Walk to End Alzheimer's that takes place in October. We meet at least once a month and it's virtual due to COVID. You do not have to have a personal connection to the cause to be eligible. I need people to assist with team recruitment, sponsorship, team retention, logistics. If you have a passion to make a difference, want to hone in on certain skill sets or you have some free time, we would love to hear from you! All are welcome and I have different volunteer opportunities that fit everyone's schedule!

Description
The Longest Day is the day with the most light - the summer solstice. On June 20, thousands of participants from across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer's through an activity of their choice. Together, they use their creativity and passion to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
