Volunteer to teach English to adults using the Zoom platform or in-person instruction, depending on the level of the COVID-19 pandemic. Class level will depend on enrollees. Schedule to be determined between teacher and students - typically three times a week for an hour and a half each class.
Ideal candidate should have experience teaching ESL and a desire to help new immigrants become integrated into the community. The position may move back to an in-person format when concerns about the pandemic are no longer paramount. Therefore, the candidate should live within commuting distance of Dover, New Jersey. We hope to create two teaching teams who will share a schedule and a multi-level group of students. Having two teachers for our morning class and two teachers for our evening class will give our students scheduling flexibility and enable us to divide each class according to levels for more targeted instruction.
