50,000 Safer is a pharmacogenetics (PGx) testing support program to help thousands of people gain access to life-saving PGx testing. The goal of the program, with the support of our certified lab partners, is to help reduce adverse drug reactions, medication-related hospitalizations, and to be a charitable catalyst for overall safer medication outcomes for at-risk populations. To operationally improve the program, we are looking for volunteer nurse practitioners or physician assistants to help order tests for participants who sign up for testing support on our website. ***This is a remote volunteer position where you would work in collaboration with a growing team of volunteers who are supporting other aspects of program delivery. Must have an active license in good standing, prescribing authority, and an NPI #.*** Apply here on VolunteerMatch or by filling out a brief volunteer application on our website at https://safestdrug.org/get-involved/sign-up-to-volunteer/
