Thank you for your consideration for this position.

This volunteer position will be working close to the Founder of the charity.

Love My Neighbor Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit. We feed the homeless of downtown Los Angeles every Thursday. LMNF was est. Dec. 2014. We plan on expanding the charity and helping in other areas.

We are looking for someone that is reliable, dedicated, has a passion with helping others and that wants to be apart of a team. Someone that is able to at least volunteer with us 2 Thursdays of every month, if not, every Thursday. Volunteering every week isn't mandatory, but we would like someone to know what we do first hand, so if anyone asks, they will know exactly what to answer, because they have experienced it with us. Also, we would want someone there to gather all new volunteers information to store on our spreadsheets.

The Executive Assistant will be pretty much the middle person of the founder and everyone else.

The person for this position will need to be a people person, have a lot of patience, and be very organized.

A lot of things will be based around your schedule.
Once again, this person will have to be very organized, great with communication, help with scheduling meetings, be on top of everyone else and their duties, and assist the Founder. Even though we want a kind, and people person, this person will have to be okay with having authority.
-Make sure that all crew members are on top of their task at hand.
-Help get more people on our crew.
-Schedule meetings and/or meetings for appropriate members.
-Help coordinate events.
-Volunteer on Thursdays from 12p-2p (at least twice a month, if not every Thursday)
-Assisting CEO and Operation Manager.

Must have email experience, Excel, Word, and social media(a plus). Must speak and write English very well. Spanish is a plus. We are looking for someone that wants to be apart of our crew for the long run, to help build and grow Love My Neighbor Foundation.

Serious inquires only. Please only respond if you are considering long term with us, not just for school credit. In the email, please let us know if you are available on Thursdays.

Thank you for your consideration.

Mission Statement

Establishing a viable and respectable means for homeless individuals to receive the necessities of life as they regain their way back into society. Love My Neighbor, is not just another foundation giving away food, clothes etc. This foundation was established to allow homeless individuals to keep their pride and dignity as they receive food, clothing, shoes, toiletries and spiritual enlightenment. Our volunteers are individuals in the community that realize the plight of the homeless and display such by giving countless hours to ensure their comfort when distributing necessities.

Description

Founder/President: Athena Hayley

Texas native Athena Hayley, commonly known as "Hayley", has garnered her roots in Los Angeles, CA. .

Initially wanting to share her talents in the Entertainment business as an Actress, Ms. Hayley began creating work for herself since she was not getting the type of work she wanted that truly displayed her craft.

Ms. Hayley, wrote, produced and starred in several Independent films, one in particular that addressed relevant topics such as "abusive parents, drugs, prostitution, homelessness and teenage runaways".

Realizing that these aspects of life existed beyond the silver screen, Ms. Hayley, turned to providing services for those individuals who currently on a large scale "live" the type of lives she wrote about, thus, Love My Neighbor Foundation was formed.
