The HDSA Los Angeles Team Hope Walk has raised over $750,000 over the last 15 years. We're looking for energetic people to help with planning for this years event!

The event will be held on July 17, 2021 and will be virtual.

Please consider joining our committee!

Expectations and roles include:

• Attend planning meetings (virtual)
• Assist with recruitment of teams, participants and sponsors.
• Start a team. Try to recruit more members to your team than in previous year and work to earn your t-shirt.
• Assist with follow up phone calls.

The Team Hope Walk program is HDSA’s signature grassroots fundraising campaign designed to provide hope and support for those touched by this devastating disease. All proceeds support HDSA’s mission to improve the lives of people affected by HD and their families. Since their inception in 2007, Team Hope Walks have occurred in over 100 different cities and have raised more $18 million for the cause.

A virtual walk is a real walk, but on your terms. You get choose your own course. Now, you can take part wherever you are...from the comfort and safety of your own home, around your yard, or even your neighborhood (following social distance guidelines, of course). While COVID-19 disrupts everyone’s lives, HD continues to impact the lives of so many families near and dear to us. And even though stay at home orders and social distancing may keep us physically apart, the spirit of the HD Community will not be broken.
