ORGANIZATION: HAND IN HAND PARENTING

Hand in Hand Parenting is a 501c3 that was established over 30 years ago with a goal to help support parents and build resilient families. To achieve our organization's mission, we work with numerous volunteers who generously donate their time to help support our cause. We are looking for a volunteer who can help us formalize and manage a volunteer program.

We are looking for someone, preferably with previous experience, who can establish a Volunteer Handbook, application and confidentiality agreement for our organization, set up an easy way to collect and track volunteer hours, establish a documented routine for monthly volunteer management, and manage the program for an initial month or two to get it off of the ground. We hope you will join us in changing the world by helping to support parents across the globe!

Mission Statement

Hand in Hand envisions a world where children’s innate instinct to love, to connect, and heal from hard things is protected and nurtured. In this world, children and the adults who care for them grow naturally into leaders who solve problems creatively, foster cooperation and build thriving communities.

Description

Hand to Hand is a global non - profit that helps parents and professionals nurture social-emotional health for themselves and the children in their care. We bring a unique framework to strengthen relationships and grow support systems across families and early childhood educational communities.

Hand in Hand’s approach introduces a paradigm-shifting theory of emotion, translated into 5 simple and concrete tools that can be flexibly integrated into existing family and classroom routines. The tools are designed to help caregivers structure child - led quality time, set limits, access laughter and play, help children recover from big emotional moments, and bring refreshing support for caregivers that protects against burnout and overwhelm. Hand in Hand is taught through a variety of support and training programs led by 200+ Certified Instructors teaching in their communities across the globe.
