HAND IN HAND PARENTING

Hand in Hand Parenting is a 501c3 that was established over 30 years ago with a goal to help support parents and build resilient families. We see a future where parents worldwide have the tools and support they need to meet their children's core needs for connection, guidance, and recovery from hard times because when families thrive, communities thrive. We achieve this vision by training parent educators and instructors around the globe to teach our approach to parenting by connection, helping parents to better support and connect with their children, and also build support for themselves.

We are seeking a board member, or two, to join our, currently, 12 member Board of Directors. We have an exceptional board with seasoned professionals with backgrounds in marketing, consulting, finance, and technology. We are looking for a new board member, or potentially board members if we find more than one fit, to join our organization, ideally with expertise in one of the following areas: Legal, Fundraising Management, Finance, or a Psychology/Therapy Professional.

We have just undergone an exhaustive Strategic Planning Process and have approved a new Strategic Plan for tremendous growth and program development over the next 3 years, so it is a very exciting time to be a part of our organization. We hope you will join us in changing the world by helping to support parents across the globe!

While we are headquartered in San Francisco, you can participate from anywhere as our Board and staff is spread across the country in Boston, New York City, St. Louis, San Francisco, Palo Alto, and others.
