Our Forest Fund is a new organization with big plans. We need someone who is familiar with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, other social networks, etc, to help promote our campaign to save the trees in the Port Gamble Forest Heritage Park and other public lands in Kitsap County. If you love forests and wildlife, and you can get social media traction going for us, you can make an important contribution to our parks, our county and our planet. We need you!

About Our Forest Fund

Mission Statement

We at Our Forest Fund believe that at this time, preserving the forests we have is crucial to save the ecosystem we call home. It’s everybody’s home, and our very lives depend upon it. Our Forest Fund was founded to protect as many trees as possible by purchasing timber rights and/or forest land. Our goal is to preserve forests, expand forested acreage, and to safeguard wildlife habitat & community watersheds. Preserving and improving our forest ecosystems can accomplish 33% of the climate change mitigation required by 2030 to meet the Paris Agreement objectives.

Description

This is why we are working to keep the forest in the Port Gamble Forest and will continue to work to save forests wherever we can. Our first projects are in north Kitsap County, and later we will expand to the rest of Washington State.
