About Us
Dweebs Global ( www.dweebsglobal.org ) is a non-profit foundation created to help the pressing needs of those affected economically and mentally all over the world in these trying times. Millions of people are unemployed, struggling, or just need advice and psychological counseling due to the stress and hardships of Covid-19. Working alongside trained and vetted mental health professionals, career counselors, and domain experts, our organization provides one-on-one mentorship, advice and counseling absolutely FREE, without any barriers, via video conferencing and other means.
About The Position
We are looking for senior project managers who have experience in leadership, management, and administration. HR experience a plus. Communication or press experience a plus. You will be tasked with a role of organizing and leading anywhere from dozens to hundreds of volunteers (and this may grow to thousands during your time with us). You may work in leading communications, press, mental health, subject matter, or mentorship teams depending on your skills and interests. We will be filling positions as we find talented and qualified individuals.
Requirements:
***Must have prior leadership experience of a team with at least ten people on it.
***Must have at least 10 hours a week to volunteer for Dweebs Global.
***Must be able to commit to a year of volunteering.
*Note: right now, our entire organization is fully volunteer. We have no paid employees, including our staff who donate 60-80 hours a week for free.
