Do you love farmers' markets? Strolling through your local market, getting to know the farmers, and supporting local farmers and artisans? Eating fresh, local produce, and learning about where your food comes from? Then share your love by volunteering at Hillsboro Farmers' Markets!
As a Farmers' Market Volunteer, you will help support the markets by:
- Setting-up / breaking-down market booths
- Posting market signage
- Assisting with market entrances and pre-order pickups as needed
- Sanitizing high touchpoints
- And more!
Hillsboro Farmers' Markets run from April through October, and volunteer help is needed on Saturday or Sunday AM/PM. Come join the fun and help support the markets!
Safety is our top priority, here are some of our 2020 COVID-19 regulations (2021 regulations will be announced closer to market opening day)
- Properly worn face coverings by all market attendees
- 6 ft social distancing
- Booth arrangement COVID Compliant
- Volunteer break area
- Hand sanitizer and washing stations throughout the market
- 100 customer limit
- Customer not to touch produce
- Stay home if you're sick
- Market office closed

Description
Hillsboro Farmers’ Markets (HFM) enriches and unifies our community by creating welcoming environments to access affordable regionally grown produce, arts, crafts, and local products. HFM supports farmers, artisans, and other family-owned business entrepreneurs. We encourage partnerships among vendors and the educational and business communities. In partnership with our vendors, we educate consumers on farm practices, sustainability, and the nutritional and economic value of buying locally.
