We need assistance in creating a template for a press release or ongoing public relations writer. Help most needed includes writing press releases for events or projects for the Homeownership Center Northwest, creating internal communications to board, and monitoring the publication of written articles on broadcast and social media would also be helpful.
Open to suggestions and recommendations including monthly newsletter, annual report, public presentations, etc.
Start with a simple press release announcing new funding partners sponsorship and upcoming fundraising event.
Thank you for your consideration.

Mission Statement

The Homeownership Center of Tacoma Northwest (HCHW) is a 28+-year-old, community-based nonprofit corporation whose mission is to foster neighborhood revitalization through homeownership, provide free ongoing financial counseling and offer supportive resources to our community. HCT builds quality new homes, refurbishes existing homes, and makes homeownership affordable by providing a no-interest, no-payment second mortgage that ensures monthly payments are tailored to the household’s income instead of the purchase price of the home. HCT offers this unique financing program throughout the Pacific Northwest for homes that we have constructed or refurbished, to modest-income home buyers that have not owned a home during the past three years. We also offer free homebuyer, education classes. We have successfully matched over 200+ homes with individuals and families. We are just beginning. Join Us!
