About Interim HealthCare

3613 NW 56th Street, Suite 385, Oklahoma City, OK 73112, US

Mission Statement

Being a hospice volunteer is an intensely rewarding experience. Whether it’s providing companionship to a person in the final months or weeks of life, offering support to family members and caregivers, providing assistance in the office or helping with community outreach, the contributions of volunteers are an essential part of Interim HealthCare of Oklahoma's Hospice Program. Our goal is to provide excellent end-of-life support to each patient and family. Hospice volunteers are at the heart of our goal. Serving people at the end of life’s journey allows hospice volunteers in Oklahoma City to make a difference to someone in need every day. Are you ready to help those in need find peace? Once you complete the required pre-training interview and orientation class, you'll be ready. Surviving family members or friends wishing to join the volunteer staff will be strongly encouraged to wait a minimum of one year following the death of their loved one.

Mission: We believe that every life matters until the very last moment. Our Oklahoma City Hospice Care Program focuses on providing compassionate, quality care to those individuals with a life limiting illness and their families. Hospice focuses on palliative care and comfort care in the final stages of life. It is important to note that hospice does not hasten death, but instead helps the individual live fully and comfortably, affirming their uniqueness and providing support to their loved ones. We provide a holistic approach to care, focusing on the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient and family. Interim HealthCare is America's leading provider of home care, hospice and healthcare staffing. We offer one of the most comprehensive selections of career opportunities in the industry ranging from per diem to full-time. Nationally, Interim HealthCare has been providing great jobs to great people for over 50 years and there are more than 300 offices across the country. That kind of stability combined with our commitment to integrity makes us your perfect career partner. Interim HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
