Do you like to visit others and are 18 years or older?
Heart to Heart Hospice is looking for Volunteers with compassionate hearts to join our Volunteer team, supporting patients with life-limiting illness and their families. Volunteers visit patients in homes or facilities -- bringing their time, unique talents, and skills to create personal connections and companionship. Volunteers provide no personal daily care, but instead review life, play cards, listen, and talk about family experiences, feelings, and hobbies. If in a home setting, the volunteer may be asked to assist with light housework or provide the chance for the caregiver to run errands, go to the grocery or attend an appointment.
Wondering how this might be a good match for you? Our Volunteer Coordinator works to ensure a successful volunteer/patient match in a comfortable environment with a rewarding assignment. We invite you to BE a part of our hospice team and BE the community connection for hospice patients and families. We are excited to meet YOU!
