1 in 3 Floridians are affected by arthritis, including over 16,000 children in the state! We are looking for a few new committee members to assist in planning the 2022 Walk to Cure Arthritis in Broward County! The Walk is the flagship event for the Arthritis Foundation and held in May each year (Arthritis Awareness Month). Volunteers on the committee can assist with a variety of areas including, event planning & coordination, securing in-kind donations, marketing & promotions, silent auction, kid's activities, team and sponsor recruitment & stewardship, and more.
Meetings are held monthly for one hour and there is a virtual option. Join a wonderful group of volunteers who are helping the arthritis community! Please contact Melissa Hughey at mhughey@arthritis.org to learn more!
