Traditions Health is seeking compassionate, caring individuals to visit with patients. Patient visits could include watching TV, playing cards, reading a book, painting fingernails, playing music, or reminiscing. Volunteers sometimes run errands or sit with the patient to allow the caregiver to run to the store, get a haircut or have lunch with a friend. Volunteers do not perform any medical or direct care tasks such as changing, feeding, bathing, etc. They are there to be a friend to the patient and their family, providing much needed friendship during a time of social isolation.
We will work with your schedule!
Application process includes: fingerprinting, background check, health screen, drug screen, annual TB test, training and orientation.

We walk with patient and their loved ones each step of the way, providing the education and care they need to have the best quality of life possible.
Our team is passionate about building relationships with our patients and their loved ones so that we know what matters most to them. Whether the need is physical, spiritual or emotional, our compassionate hospice experts are available to provide the necessary support. Comfort and dignity are the anchors of hospice care. Our clinicians are highly skilled at recognizing and managing symptoms early, in most cases allowing the patient to remain comfortable at home throughout the end of their life.
