NOW SPOTTED AT STEVENS CREEK NATURE PRESERVE, 15700 Thompson Road, Mint Hill, NC, 28227

TIME: 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Meet the staff at Stevens Creek Nature Center to connect with people and nature, all while making a positive difference in the community by removing invasive plant species! Come prepared to cut down small shrubs with provided hand tools. Maximum of 10 Volunteers per date.
IMPORTANT: If you feel ill; have had a fever in the last 14 days, or suspect that you have been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19, PLEASE DO NOT participate in Volunteer activities.

  • Please bring your own sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle and snacks.
  • Dress appropriately to be working outdoors for 3 hours; closed-toe shoes are required!
  • Please bring your own work gloves and face covering
  • Volunteers 12 years old and up are welcome - Anyone under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by a parent/adult at all times.
