Aldea is seeking people who can help Change a Life in an Hour by volunteering to assemble gift bags OR deliver meals to event participant's homes.

THE JOBS IN TWO SHIFTS.

  1. Assemble 150 gift bags in which will go: a bottle of wine, a program booklet
  2. Deliver gift bags on a route with no more than 5 homes, primarily in Napa, but some also in Solano and Sonoma

THE TWO SHIFTS: You’re welcome to pick one - or do both!

1 pm to 2:30 pm: assemble gift bags (we could use 10 volunteers) This will be done at the Wolf Center, 2310 First Street, Napa.

2:30 pm to 4 pm: departing from Wolf Center, deliver to guests’ homes on a route with no more than 5 stops (here we could use 12-18 teams of two: a driver and a runner to deliver the bags to the doors) Complete maps and contact info for each guest delivery will be provided

REQUIREMENTS AND BENEFITS

Requirements: Volunteers who will be driving must show proof of insurance and a valid California license
Benefits

    • Each driver will receive a stipend to cover fuel expenses of $25, assuming each route around 50 miles
    • Every volunteer will receive a gift bag (includes bottle of wine, no dinner), and be invited to join both the VIP and Main Event.

This volunteer opportunity is limited to people 21 and older due to wine being included with dinner.

By volunteering, you are making a very generous donation of your time and talent to Aldea and the children and families we serve. Your efforts will make it possible for Aldea to raise funds necessary to close the expense gap in essential services. All of us here at Aldea want you to know how much we appreciate your personal efforts. We couldn’t do this without you!
