Assistance League of Los Angeles
We invite YOU to join our Family Day of Service, our annual book drive, to promote literacy in our community! This FREE family-friendly volunteer event will help us provide over 1,500 books for our Preschool Learning Center, Operation School Bell and Foster Children's Resource Center programs. Volunteers can also help us make fun bookmarks to encourage the joy of reading.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

Our mission is to improve the lives of impoverished children in our community through philanthropy, dedicated service, and compassionate programs.
For almost 100 years, the Assistance League(r) of Los Angeles has provided women in the Greater Los Angeles area with opportunities to forge new connections and take leadership in their communities while making meaningful contributions to the lives of thousands.
Our programs offer a full spectrum of services including preschool, cultural enrichment for youth and resources for homeless and foster children. The Assistance League of Los Angeles serves as an anchor within the Hollywood community, making Los Angeles a better, kinder, and more compassionate city.
