Position Overview: The marketing and fundraising volunteer will assist OCH in the development of marketing materials to promote the organization and its various programs, projects, and fundraisers. The volunteer will also research grant and sponsorship opportunities for OCH, and write multiple grants and sponsorship letters to the point of submission.
Duties: The volunteer will assist in the creation and development of:
-End of the year marketing campaign
-Grant writing and research
-Sponsorship letters
-Fliers/graphics
-Social media content curation
-Email outreach
Skills and Qualifications:
-Must have an interest in habitat conservation and environmentalism
-Strong writing skills
-Excellent time management
-Ability to multitask different schedules and deadlines
-Have leadership skills and experience
-Comfortable reaching out to and communicating with different organizations
-Experience with Microsoft Office and G-Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
