Many hardworking people in our region qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and other tax credits, but aren’t getting the full refund they deserve.
United Way is committed to improving financial stability for individuals and families, so each year we offer Free Tax Prep to help families save approximately $250 in tax prep fees, get the credits they deserve and help them keep more of their money.
We need your help! We’re looking volunteers to connect their existing skills. As a Technology Support Specialist, you will work with equipment, not taxes.
Tech Support Specialists address equipment and software-related issues at a tax site such as scanning, printing or troubleshooting computer issues. For those with less tech experience, volunteers in this role may also help with setting up sites before opening and/or after each tax day.

United Way of Greater Cincinnati was founded in 1915. The annual fundraising campaign became a partnership with American Red Cross, Cincinnati Area Chapter, in 1956. Today the organization covers ten counties: Hamilton, Brown, Butler and Clermont in Ohio; Boone, Campbell, Grant, and Kenton in Northern Kentucky; and Dearborn and Ohio counties in Southeast Indiana.
