The Alzheimer's Association of the Rochester & Finger Lakes Chapter is looking for enthusiastic planning committee members for the 2022Finger Lakes Walks to End Alzheimer's,

The Walk to End Alzheimer's Planning committee is a small but mighty group of energetic go-getters who are passionate about the Alzheimer's Association's mission. The Walk to End Alzheimer's is the Association's largest fundraising event, held nationally in over 600 communities. Our goal is to raise funds to ultimately find a cure for Alzheimer's disease while spreading awareness about the programs and services offered at no charge to the professionals, friends, and families that are already on an Alzheimer's journey. The Walk Planning committee is volunteer lead and staff supported. We have a wonderful event chair in place but are seeking additional individuals interested in leadership roles.

The AIM-Advocacy Chair serves as the primary lead for recruiting Alzheimer’s Impact Movement (AIM) members throughout the Walk planning process and updates committee on advocacy opportunities. The AIM-Advocacy Chair will assemble a subcommittee to recruit new AIM members and advocates from all sectors of the community.
*please note there is a role for everyone!- reach out to me for more details*
Monthly commitment: Approximately 3-4 hours per month. This will vary depending on the month as we get closer to the event. While the Walk is scheduled for October. we fundraise year-round.
