ORGANIZATION: DEFEND OUR CHILDREN

  • 7 people are interested

Hello!

We are a Children's nonprofit that focuses on making schools safe for students throughout their educational journey. We are in need of experienced or inexperienced grant writing volunteers.

  1. Volunteers with experience should have experience writing grants for schools, particularly in getting them funds for upgrades.
  2. Volunteers without experience should have a great writing background and be willing to help.

Our nonprofit focuses on making schools safer by equipping them with safe space desks. We need volunteers who would go the extra mile and help make schools safer for all students.

Types of grants: Case studies, hardening, and physical material defense. COPS and SVPPP are the primary focus.

Expectations: Work with other volunteer grant writers and be able to either lead the grant team or work on the grant team. We use basecamp to coordinate volunteer efforts. We do have grants selected and we are open to hearing about other grant opportunities.

We ask before you sign up to review DOCcharity.com to get a better understanding of our efforts of making schools safe for students. If you align with our mission, then please sign up.

I am pretty open and willing to answer any and all questions. Thanks for taking the time out of your day to help a Children's Charity.
