Linc Housing is seeking skilled and experienced attorneys to provide free, high quality legal representation for our affordable housing residents.

We're committed to building and preserving housing that is affordable, environmentally sustainable, and a catalyst for community improvement. Linc works hard to address the homelessness crisis by building supportive housing and addressing the affordable housing needs of our state's diverse population. Through our resident services, we are also providing life-enhancing programs that improve the quality of life for those who live in our communities. The populations we serve include:

Volunteer Responsibilities May Include:
Assisting residents with unemployment applications and appeals
Ensuring rental rights and protections.
Supporting programs that advance the social and economic well-being of underserved individuals.
Organizing legal clinics, fairs, and information sessions.
Providing legal services and support to residents, non-profit community organizers, and constituents
Facilitating and supporting critical legal intervention.
Providing legal representation to veterans, service members and their families.
Preventing and mitigating evictions.
Protecting human rights and promoting equitable economic development.

Description
Linc Housing builds, owns, and operates affordable housing for low-income families and seniors throughout California. Our resident services department provides life-enhancing services to residents. Our staff members teach and collaborate with nearby agencies to facilitate classes and activities that cover health, exercise, financial literacy, after-school care, ESL, computer skills, crafts, volunteer opportunities, social events, and field trips to experience science, nature, and the arts.
