If you are looking to help families after a fire or other disaster, become a Red Cross Caseworker! No experience needed.
Caseworkers support the disaster recovery of individuals, families, and communities affected by disaster by providing referrals, assistance, and goods to begin recovery. Caseworkers conduct client interviews (in-person and over the phone), use the online Client Assistance System (CAS 2.0) to document services, provide referrals to community partners, and assist with problem-solving and advocacy.
Time commitment: This position is available Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. Volunteers must be able to commit to a 4-hour shift each week, during this time frame. Shifts are available 9am-1pm and 1pm-5pm each business day, with flexibility.
