Some patients on hospice are not able to complete some household chores due to immobility or it may even cause them some pain while trying to complete these household duties. As a friendly visitor volunteer your role will be to help patients with some household chores such as dusting, meal prep, and light housekeeping. This is a very rewarding opportunity to help patients who can no longer help themselves. It is also a chance to create wonderful friendships with patients while being a wonderful listening ear to those who need it most!
