The American Red Cross is seeking volunteers to develop community partnerships, building our local capacity for a large-scale disaster response. Before a disaster strikes, the Red Cross needs to have partnerships created for various response functions (i.e. providing meals, providing volunteers, providing shelters to disaster clients). We are seeking members who can work in their local community to establish and build partnerships with various organizations including businesses, government agencies, other nonprofits, etc.
The ideal team members will have people skills and will be comfortable with public speaking. The time commitment is flexible. This opportunity is virtual.
Note that no previous experience or knowledge is required - training is provided!
