Members of our Education Committee help to further the Character Council's mission by engaging schools in training for character education programs. Volunteers on this committee also have the opportunity to become State School of Character Evaluators for schools in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, an award designated by Washington DC-based Character.org, which also designated schools for the National School of Character award. Members of this committee will have the ability to attend our seminars for free if volunteering with the event, and if so moved to present materials at our seminars as well.
We are specifically looking for people who are passionate about character education programs in schools, in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. Current, retired, and those studying to become teachers and administrators, current and retired school board members, and parents of children in school are all a great fit for this committee, but we truly appreciate anyone with a passion for character!
