Chaparral House is a skilled nursing facility in Berkeley dedicated to providing excellent person-centered care to elders.

We're looking for volunteers to help us provide clothing protectors or "Dignity Bibs" for our residents. Dignity bibs look more like clothing, so that elderly people and differently abled individuals, can continue to eat their meals in a dignified and respected manner.

We'd like to get 100 bibs made for our residents, so are looking for groups or individuals who would be able to commit to making at least 25 bibs. Chaparral House would provide you the pattern and materials which could be picked up at our facility. Work would then be done at your home and dropped off at Chaparral House when completed.

If you'd like to help out, please contact us and we can work out the details.
