This volunteer opportunity takes place right in your own home! We need foster homes to care for the beloved pets of underhoused and homeless people while they go through transitional housing. We provide food and vet care, all you need is love to give to a pet. You can decide what kind of animals you would like to foster (dogs and cats are the ones that most commonly need placements), and it is totally okay if you have your own pets already.
Before becoming a foster home, you'll need to attend a virtual training and have a home visit. During the home visit, all covid precautions will be taken. This is a very low contact volunteer opportunity, which makes it great for covid times.
Contact us if you are interested! If you have questions, please email at firstname.lastname@example.org
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.
About BECKS PLACE
PO BOX 562, MONROE, WA 98272, US
To build a community for people and pets by removing pet related barriers to stability and providing human and pet services that are given with love, grace and support.
Beck's Place is a small nonprofit in Monroe, WA that serves underhoused people and their pets. Many people who experience homelessness have companion animals, and this can make it difficult to find transitional housing. Beck's Place serves these people by providing care for their animals while their families find stable housing.
