Avalon Hospice is seeking a volunteer to handwrite 5-10 encourageing cards each week to hospice patients. This is a wonderful and safe way to brighten the day of a terminally ill person in your community. All supplies needed for this on-going project are provided by Avalon Hospice.
Volunteers are subject to a background check and drug test prior to onboarding. Orientation and training are provided.

Avalon Hospice is comprised of a team of doctors, nurses, aids, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers. Our approach to hospice care considers the wide range of needs patients and families experience when facing a terminal illness. Avalon's collaborative team approach ensures patients' and their families' specific needs are targeted and addressed quickly.
